A Strategic Merger for Community Growth
In early 2016, the club directors for Edge Volleyball Club and Vegas Volleyball Club began discussing how to continue supporting the growth of the valley's volleyball community. Convinced that concentrating programs rather than diluting athletes and resources was a more intelligent and effective approach the two clubs embarked on the path towards unification. Looking at their areas of strength and opportunities for improvement, it became clear that a more focused emphasis on the youngest players was important. Club Vegas entered the dialogue, and the three clubs found more common ground. Vegas United Volleyball Club was created in September 2016 from three clubs, each with at least a decade or more of history serving the Las Vegas volleyball community.
Science & Strength: Advancing Athlete Wellness
In 2021, we made the decision to build an in-house weight room for our athletes to train and recover. Within those last four years, we have spent more time focusing on athletic development from a functional strength point of view to aid in athlete wellness and performance. Since then, we have seen a significant decrease in overuse injuries and an increase in overall athlete performance. We have evolved since then to have protocols involving, club wide warmups, and recovery methods that all of our staff is involved in.

Vegas United Volleyball Club is the embodiment of our original leaders belief in a simple, science-based, innovative pedagogy. Our leadership continually invests in learning opportunities for our athletes and staff from the best in our sport.

Our veteran staff members have been with our program (and the predecessors of our program) for over twenty years. The loyalty and longevity is tightly woven into the fabric of who we are and why we have been so successful . We have a strong staff who exhibit curiosity and an energy for teaching. The strength of the relationships years after athletes have graduated speaks loudly.
The Home Of Vegas United Volleyball CLub
Our facility has four full sized courts that hosts the club's events, practices, and local tournaments. Our hardwood floors are great for absorbing impact and provide an even surface for movement during play allowing athletes to move freely with significantly less risks. Our in-house weight room allows our athletes to focus all training at one site which lessens the stress of training at multiple facilities for athletic performance.
